About Reversible Renovation
Reversible Renovation
Reversible.

Renting shouldn't mean
giving up the space you love.

A room, worn a little more like fashion.

01 — Freedom

A space is allowed to be unmistakably yours.

The way you choose the clothes you love. The way you choose the furniture you love. A room, at heart, is something you're meant to enjoy freely.

Yet in a rental, the requirement to leave the room as you found it quietly convinces many people to give up on the space they want. To change the floor. To change the walls. To make the room a little more their own. Even with the wish, most conclude "it's a rental, there's nothing to be done."

We wanted to change that assumption.

02 — Origin

To change something, and to return it.

We began as interior contractors. One day a single inquiry — "Could you change the floor or the walls, even in a rental?" — became the quiet beginning of reversible renovation.

Conventional renovation is fixed in place with adhesive; once installed, it's difficult to undo. For people living in rentals, the ability to return the room mattered as much as the ability to change it.

So we studied installation from the ground up, with restoration to the original state as the starting point, and built a technique of our own.

Belief

Not giving up because it's a rental —
enjoying it freely, precisely because it is.

03 — Craft

The quiet craft that makes freedom possible.

Reversible installation isn't simple. It isn't a matter of using "removable" materials — it means reading the character of each material, reading the room it lives in, and designing the installation itself. That is what makes freedom possible, without any of the flaws.

01

Read the material.

Even among floorings alone, every material expands and contracts differently. Everything begins with understanding that movement.

02

Read the room.

Whether there is underfloor heating, how the light falls, how the temperature shifts. The right installation changes with the environment it lives in.

03

Choose from experience.

Drawing on more than 300 installations a year, we choose an approach tailored to each home, one by one.

Installation that doesn't suit the material or the room can lead to lifting, shifting, or warping. Because this is still a new craft, we believe it matters to speak with a specialised team that has both the record and the know-how.

04 — Philosophy

Space as fashion.

What we make is not simply a floor or a wall. It is the space itself — one that reflects the life of the person who lives in it.

The way you choose a favourite piece of clothing. The way you welcome in furniture you love. We believe a space, too, is a way of expressing who you are.
